MBA Program

Program Objective

The MBA program is designed to prepare managers for integration into various sectors of the business world. It provides students with advanced tools and knowledge across different areas of business administration, while tailoring these tools to the unique conditions of the Israeli business environment.

Specializations

Each MBA student chooses one of four specializations to focus their studies on:

  • Finance
  • Marketing and Business Development
  • Management and Organizational Behavior
  • Information Systems

Within each specialization, students can select a cluster of elective courses (from two or three options) to further deepen their expertise in a specific area of interest.

Program Format and Duration

Duration: Two-year program, with classes held on Sundays (4:00 PM – 10:00 PM) and Fridays (8:00 AM – 2:00 PM).

Learning Mode: Combines on-campus and remote learning. Students attend one in-person class day per week and one class day via Zoom (Sunday during the week and alternating Fridays).

Additional Requirements: In addition to MBA coursework, students must fulfill the university’s general requirements in Jewish Studies and English, as applicable for a master’s degree.

Exams: Important note: Exams may be scheduled on any day of the week (typically at 9:00 AM), not only on class days. This allows for optimal spacing of exam dates, subject to logistical constraints.

Study Tracks

The MBA program is offered in two tracks to suit student goals:

Track A (Thesis): For students who wish to develop research skills and/or continue on to doctoral (Ph.D.) studies.

Track B (Non-Thesis): For students who prefer to gain a broad, practical education in Business Administration without a research thesis.

Additionally, students in any specialization may opt to add the Directors' Cluster – an optional set of courses focusing on corporate governance (preparing students for roles as board directors).

Advantages of the MBA Program

Management Skills for Careers: MBA graduates enter the job market equipped with advanced tools and skills that enable them to assume leadership and management roles. The program emphasizes the development of critical thinking alongside practical management techniques.

Foundation for Lifelong Learning: Recognizing that a manager’s learning process does not end at graduation, the program aims to provide a strong foundation for the future professional development of its graduates.

Relevant and Specialized Curriculum: The curriculum focuses on the needs of managers in today’s modern business environment, while also placing special emphasis on the particular field each student has chosen to specialize in.

Exposure to Global Trends: Students are exposed to current issues facing the business world, which is significantly shaped by globalization, the extensive use of diverse Internet services, dramatic changes in consumer habits, and other emerging trends.
